Scott Lappi and I headed to Silver Plume to climb behind the mine. We were the first ones in the lot, we loaded up and headed up the creek. There was very little ice and alot of water flowing down the creek. When we got to the falls, we decided to hang a rope because neither of us wanted to lead the thin ice near the top. We tied off to the boulder on the left side of the falls, Its ominous placement worried me but it had been used thousands of times. Scott gave me some good safety pointers and we rapped down to begin to climb. There was 2 nice lines which you could be pretty loose on and get some drytooling in.
