Its been a while.
Well It's been a while but I mean it this time, I'm really going to try and blog more. Life's been great. Tomorrow will be My 35th day Skiing this year and I am Cat skiing. Had the best powder of my life two weeks age (see https://vimeo.com/86529115 ), Ive met some great people lately and really just have been having the time of my Life. I'll be 33 years old next week. I got to fly home for a quick weekend to go to my Nieces 5th Birthday, and she excelled at the ski lessons I got for her this year.
My Denali trip was canceled and I got depressed. I stopped training, I wasn't myself. I went to a book signing for "Training for the New Alpinism" with Steve House and Scott Johnson. The book floored me. A great manual for the endurance athlete. I learned so much in the one night and half a day it took me to read it. It is by far the Best book on the subject and a great kind of sequel to Mark Twights book. I spoke with Scott and talked over some questions I had and I have redesigned a new training plan. I will train until September when I climb something, likely solo at this point. Kilimanjaro is on top of my list right now. I am rejuvenated. I am so excited to get back into training I cannot describe it.
So I buy breakfast on my way to skiing every day I go. Today I decided to make my own I can microwave. So I took a hint from my roommate Jeremy and I made them as healthy as I could.
First Try Burrito Recipe:
Turkey Sausage: 3.5 servings
Sweet Potato's: 2 cups
Kale: 3 cups
Basal: LOTS
Mushrooms: 1.5 cups
Black Beans: 2 servings
Olive Oil: 4 Tablespoons
Cheese: 6 servings
Eggs: 12 large brown
Wraps: 8 Mission wheat
Salsa: 1/2 cup
Makes 8 Servings: Fat 25g (1.5 saturated), 26g Protein, 40g Carb = 512 Calories Each (cost: 2$ each)
Hopefully these are enough to give me energy at least for the mornings. Should be about a months worth. More to come, Please follow me and comment!

Pair those things with some hot coffee and things get interesting when you get off the first chair in the morning.
